Joe Louis Greenway is a 39-mile (63 km) biking and walking trail through the cities of Detroit, Hamtramck,[1] Highland Park, and Dearborn.[2] It connects 23 Detroit neighborhoods to Detroit's international waterfront.[3] The greenway is named after boxing champion Joe Louis, who moved to Detroit in 1926 with his family as part of the Great Migration.[4]
