1985 - ?

The band Jugosloveni was formed in 1985 by the vocalist Zoran Paunović (a former Magično Oko member) koji je kompozitor,tekstopisac i aranzer svih pesama benda. Jugosloveni released their debut album Došlo mi je da se napijem (I Feel like Getting Drunk) in 1986, in the following lineup: Zoran Paunović (vocals), Nenad Maričić (guitar), Dragan Latinčić (bass guitar) and Goran Milanović (drums). Na albumu su ucestvovali Kornelije Kovač koji je producirao album i svirao keyboards and Vlada Negovanović on guitar. The songs were classic rock-oriented while lyrics featured slang and were social-related. The album featured the band's biggest hit, "Jugosloveni". After the recording of Jugoslovena's first album, Doslo mi je da se napijem, the founder and frontman of the group, Zoran Paunović, decided to change the entire line-up due to musical disagreements with the orginalnim clanovima band and create a new one, in which in 1987 Dejan Jeremić, as the new drummer of the band, and Duško Maslać, guitarist, and she remains with them until the end of the band's existence, until 1989. He recorded Hot and Refreshing with the new permanent members of the band, drummer Dejan Jeremic and guitarist Duško Maslać, AlbumVruće osvežavajuće He recorded (Hot Refreshment) withas with guest musicians Vlada Negovanović (guitar), Dragoljub Đuričić (drums), Ted Jani (guitar), Zoran Radomirović (bass guitar) and Saša Lokner (keyboards). The third album, Krici i šaputanja (Screams and Whispers) was recorded in the new lineup, but once again in cooperation with studio musicians. After the album was released Jugosloveni officially disbanded.

2006 - present

In 2006, Zoran Paunović rerecorded the band's old songs in a pop folk manner, releasing them under Jugosloveni moniker on the album Igralište (Playground).^[1] However, the band did not officially reunite until 2013, when they released the album Tvoje ime je ljubav (Your Name Is Love).^[2] The new lineup featured, besides Paunović, Goran Vranić (guitar), Dejan Maksimović (drums) and Predrag Gostović (bass guitar).^[2]

2020 - Present Zoran Paunovic composes, writes the lyrics for the song "Balkan" and records it in a duet with the famous band of the former Yugoslavia Zabranjeno Pusenje and the band's frontman Sejo Sexon, which he publishes on his YouTube channel, where you can listen to it.
