KRG Studios is a film production and distribution company based in Bangalore, India. It primarily deals with the production and distribution of Kannada-language and non-Kannada films across Karnataka.[1]

Background

KRG Studios was established by Karthik Gowda and distributed more than 80 films. In the year 2020, KRG Studios reported another endeavour, KRG Connects (Movie Marketing Unit).[2]

They ventured into film production with Rathnan Prapancha, a film starring Dhananjay and directed by Rohit Padaki.[3][4]

Following their success of Rathnan Prapancha on Amazon Prime Video, they produced Gurudev Hoysala, which was released on March 30, 2023, which was critically acclaimed.[5]

Uttarakanda,[6] is announced as the next production venture by KRG Studios. It is to be directed by Rohit Padaki with Dhananjaya and Ramya as leads.[7] This is one of the most anticipated Kannada cinema, since it marks the return of Ramya.[8]
