Kabir Hossain (c. April 14, 1938 – May 3, 2023) was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician who served as a Member of Parliament for Rajshahi-5.[1]
Early and personal life
Hossain lived in the suburbs of Rajshahi with his wife, son and his two daughters.
Career
Hossain was elected to parliament from Rajshahi-5 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 2001.[2]
Death
On May 3, 2023, Hossain, aged 84, was pronounced dead at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in Rajshahi[3] due to old age. According to a statement made by Mossaddique Hossain Bulbul, BNP's forest and environment affairs secretary, Hossain had been suffering from various old-age complications, including diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure.
