Karanga is an administrative ward in Moshi District of Kilimanjaro Region in Tanzania. The ward covers an area of 7.6 km2 (2.9 sq mi),[1] and has an average elevation of 896 m (2,940 ft).[2] According to the 2012 census, the ward has a total population of 7,124.[3]
