Plot

Justice Rajeswari Devi lives with her two younger brothers, Mohan & Ravi. Ravi is sympathetic towards the poor who in turn has deep respect for him. He fights against corrupt politicians for the rights of the poor. He is especially hard on MP Chandra Shekar Rao and MLA Kunti Kanakaiah and they consider him to be their enemy. Rajeswari Devi does not agree with Ravi's ways of dealing with corruption and this leads him to leave the house. MLA Kanakaiah's daughter Padma loves Ravi. Mohan is not a very moral person. He befriends a club dancer named Saroja. Getting to know of this Saroja's father is irked. He is actually the estranged husbend of Rajeswari Devi. Saroja is their daughter who has grown to hate her mother due to her father's manipulation. During the time of the general election, Chandra Shekar Rao arranges to get his son Raghu married to Saraswathi, the daughter of labor union leader Edukondalu. This strategy works as people think of him as a great person for getting his son married to a poor girl. When Edukondalu refuses to help them grab the labor colony land, they kill Saraswathi and make it look like an accident. Rajeswari Devi is the judge in Saraswathi's case. Chandra Shekar Rao tries hard to manipulate Rajeswari Devi together with Saroja's father Seshu but she does not yield. They hire a criminal named King Kong. They send a young woman named Kotamma to the judge's home as a maid. She manages to seduce Mohan and Rao tries to blackmail Rajeswari Devi using that information. This backfires as Rajeswari Devi immediately agrees to get Mohan married to Kotamma. During their honeymoon Rao arranges to have Kotamma murdered and frames Mohan for it. Rajeswari Devi resigns as a judge and acts as the defense lawyer for Mohan. Saroja becomes a vital witness against Mohan's case. Ravi finds out who she really is and manages to reunite her with Rajeswari Devi. Despite Saroja's testimony the case against Mohan remains strong thereby frustrating Rajeswari Devi. Ravi abducts Raghu and makes him confess. Unfortunately, King Kong kills Saroja after Rajeswari Devi gives Ravi permission to do things his way. Ravi manages to defeat the evildoers and free Mohan. Things end well and Ravi marries Padma.
