Personal life and education

Born and brought up in Mumbai in 1957, Ketaki completed her undergraduate studies with a bachelor's degree in English literature from the esteemed Elphinstone College. Following her graduation in 1980, her exceptional academic pursuits led to a significant achievement: she was awarded a highly coveted scholarship from the Department of Communication Arts at Cornell University in Ithaca.
