Koçtepe (Kurdish: Tirehfêrik) is a village in the Cizre District of Şırnak Province in Turkey.[2] The village is populated by Kurds of the Omerkan tribe and had a population of 573 in 2021.[1][3]
History
While the village was previously attached to the Nusaybin District in Mardin Province, it became attached to the Cizre District of the same province on 23 October 1929.[4] In 1990, it was attached to the Cizre District of the newly established Şırnak Province.[5]
