Kodalu Diddina Kapuram (transl. Family Set right by Daughter-in-law) is a 1970 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by N. Trivikrama Rao under the NAT & Ramakrishna Cine Studios banner and directed by D. Yoganand. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Savitri, Vanisri and music composed by T. V. Raju. The film was a box office success, and ran for more than 175 days in theatres.
Plot
Rao Bahadur a multimillionaire, wins a lot but misplaced gaiety towards the fag end of his life because of his muddle family. He resides with his wife who is a callow fanatic. Exploiting it, a masked cat Sacchidananda intrudes and squanders their house. The couple poses sons Ramu & Ranga, and a daughter Shobha. Ramu is knitted with a benevolent Lakshmi whom he detests as irked by her traditional behavior and clutched by a dancer Maala. Despite being a genial Ranga turns into an alcoholic due to inadequate adoration. Shobha is modernistic and puppets her henpeck husband Shankaram. Plus, they lose the status of servants except for true blue Musalaiah. Whereat, Lakshmi enters the house, Ramu seeks a divorce which she accepts but they should stay together for a while as per law. Meanwhile, Ranga gets cordial to his sister-in-law who reforms under a shower of her motherly affection. As of today, the two affirm carving their family into straight. Firstly, they crack up the swindling of servants and send Shobha to her in-law's house. Parallelly, Musalaiah’s niece Parvati a plucky join as a helper, and Ranga crush on her. Besides, Ranga in various forms of disguise traps Maala rectifies his brother, and makes him comprehend the virtue of his wife. By the time, Lakshmi signs the divorce papers and quits to commit suicide. Consequently, Ranga exposes Sacchidananda’s diabolic shade, gets him apprehended, and shields Lakshmi. Finally, the movie ends on a happy note with the marriage of Ranga & Parvati.

The film celebrated a Silver Jubilee function and ran more than 175 days in Vijayawada.[2]
