Krzyżowice [kʂɨʐɔˈvit͡sɛ] (German Kreisewitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Olszanka, within Brzeg County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Olszanka, 8 km (5 mi) south of Brzeg, and 37 km (23 mi) north-west of the regional capital Opole.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word krzyż, which means "cross".[2]
