The Lagos State Ministry of Education is a state government owned ministry charged with the responsibility of planning and implementing the state policies on Education.[2][3] Its vision is "to be a model of excellence in the provision of education in Africa".[4] Its mission is to make high-quality education available to all learners through effective and efficient resource management, resulting in self-sufficiency and socioeconomic growth.[4]
Folashade Adefisayo is the current Lagos state commissioner of Education.[5][6][7][8][9][1][10][11] She assumed office in 2019.[12][13]
