Lakuri is a village development committee in Dailekh District in the Bheri Zone of western-central Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3234 people living in 573 individual households.[1]
Media
To promote local culture, Lakuri has a community radio station, Radio Dhrubatara FM (Nepali: रेडियो ध्रुवतारा एफ एम; Nepali pronunciation: [reɖiyo dʱrubʌtara epʰ em]), which broadcasts at 89.8 MHz. Dhrubatara means "pole star".
