Lucas Michel Mendes (born 3 July 1990) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back but can also play as left-back for Qatari club Al-Wakrah. Born in Brazil, he plays for the Qatar national team.
Club career
On 15 August 2014, after playing 2 years with Olympique de Marseille, he signed for Qatari club El Jaish.[2]
International career
On 9 November 2023, Mendes received his first call-up to Qatar national football team after being naturalised as a Qatari citizen, having been living in Qatar for nine years.
