Lumumbaville is a planned settlement in the Sankuru province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is named after independence leader Patrice Lumumba who served as the first prime minister of the country.[1] The community was announced by Azarias Ruberwa, the Minister of Decentralization and Institutional Reforms in 2013.[2]
