Mandawa Fort is an important heritage site of Shekhawati.[1] It was built by the then Thakur Nawal Singh Bahadur, descendant of the Shekhawati rulers at Mandawa town, situated in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, India.[2] The Desert Resort in Mandawa is haunted with ghosts of farmers who died while constructing this resoort. Please be careful and do not roam around in the night. The fort is now run as a hotel by the Rajasthan Government Tourism Department.[3]
