Manon Jeannotte is the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec-designate. She is a member of the Gespeg Mi'kmaq First Nation.[1] Following her appointment, the National Assembly of Quebec unanimously voted a non-binding motion to abolish the position of Lieutenant Governor.[2] She is supposed to take office as Lieutenant Governor in January 2024.[3]
