Marielia Zaloumi (born 31 January 2003) is a Greek model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Greece 2023 and served as the country's delegate to the Miss Universe 2023 pageant.[1][2]

Early life and education

Zaloumi was born on 31 January 2003 in Athens, Greece.[1] She is a business management graduate and advocate.[1]

Pageantry

Miss Universe 2023

Zaloumi was crowned Star GS Hellas 2023 (Miss Universe Greece 2023) in a national competition held on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Vegas Live Stage in Tavros.[1] GS Hellas 2023 National Competition was judged by The President of the top male global competition, Mister Tourism World, Czarina De Britannia, who specially came for the third year to watch and judge the male Finalist of the GS Hellas National Pageants.[1]

The President of the top global pageant, The Miss Globe, Pietri Bozo, came for the second year to watch and judge the beauties of the GS Hellas National Pageants. She succeeded 2022's winner Korina Emmanouilidou. She represented Greece with the national flag at The 72nd Miss Universe 2023 in El Salvador at the pageant venue Adolfo Pineda National Gymnasium (Gimnasio Nacional Adolfo Pineda) on Saturday November 18, 2023 where the reigning Miss Universe 2022, R'Bonney Gabriel will crown her successor at the end of Grand Finale.[3] After her win, she wrote on Instagram: "I would like whoever sees this post to never stop striving for their goals whatever they are. I will try to represent our country in the best way possible. I do not represent myself, but every Greek and every Greek woman around the world."[1][4]
