Mark R. Ginsberg is an American psychologist and academic administrator who is the incoming president of Towson University.[1] He served as provost and executive vice president of George Mason University from 2020 to 2023.[2] He was the executive director of the National Association for the Education of Young Children from 1999 to 2010.[2]

Life

Ginsberg earned bachelor's degree from State University of New York at Cortland in 1975. He completed a master's degree (1978) and Ph.D. (1981) from Pennsylvania State University.[2]

Ginsberg is a fellow of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.[2]

Ginsberg is married to University of Maryland professor emerita, Elaine A. Anderson.[2]
