Martin Amini is an American stand-up comedian known for his comedic material centered around his experiences growing up mixed in America with immigrant parents.[1] Amini is the founder of Room 808[2] and the Overachievers Comedy Show.[3]

Early life

Amini was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. He is a first-generation child of Bolivian and Iranian immigrant parents.[4][5]

Career

Amini made his television debut on TruTV's Laff Tracks.[6]

In 2020, Martin filmed his stand-up special, "Son of An Ice Cream Man,"[7] at The Kennedy Center.[1][8]

He has performed at Sony Hall.[9][10] Live Nation is bringing him to London in October 2023.[11]

Amini will also tour in 2023 and 2024 with fellow comedian Matt Rife.[12]
