Melmaruvathur is a town located in Tamil Nadu, India. The town is known for the shrine of goddess Adhi parashakthi.[1] It is a very important religious destination, because of its location between Tiruvannamalai and Chennai, and also because of its very reachable location, which is blocked neither by mountains nor lakes. It has a population about 100,000 people in it.
