Melvin D. Close Jr. (conceived April 24, 1934) was an American lawmaker who was a Vote based individual from the Nevada General Assembly. Get together. A lawyer, he is a graduate of Brigham Young University and the UC Berkeley School of Law.[1] He was Speaker of the General Assembly from 1967 to 1968, and President pro tempore of the Senate in 1977 and 1981.
