Pedro Maia (born 22 September 1999, Sorocaba, Brazil),[1] known by the stage name Mochakk is a Brazilian DJ and music producer.

Biography

Pedro Maia began DJing at the age of 15. During this time he started producing hip hop, before shifting to electronic music and becoming dedicated to house music.[1]

He gained popularity on TikTok, after reading and implementing a Twitter post from John Summit, where Summit adviced aspiring DJs to promote themselves on TikTok.[2][3]

Some of his dj mentors and collaborators are: Seth Troxler, Pete Tong, The Martinez Brothers and Chris Lake.[1][4]

Maia was part of the lineup for the 22nd Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2023.[5]
