Mombi District (Persian: بخش ممبی) is in Bahmai County, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Qaleh Mombi,[2] whose population at the National Census of 2016 was 668 people in 156 households.[3]
After the 2016 census, Bahmai-ye Garmsiri-ye Shomali Rural District was separated from Bahmai-ye Garmsiri District in the establishment of Mombi District, which was divided into two rural districts.[2] The village of Qaleh Mombi was elevated to the status of a city.[4]
