Muhammad Jifri Muthukkoya, known with the honorific Sayyid, suffixed Thangal,[1] is an Islamic scholar from Kerala, India. He serves as President, Samastha Kerala Jem'iyyathul Ulema, the body of Sunni-Shafi'i scholars in northern Kerala.[2]
He succeeded Kumaramputhur A. P. Muhammed Musliyar as the president of the Samastha in 2016.[3][2]
He is the disciple of famous islamic scholars like Shams-ul-Ulama E.K Usthad , Tirurangadi Bappu Musliyar and P Kunjeen Musliyar . P Kunjeen Musliyar was one of the famous student of EK Aboobacker Musliyar .
