Neginshahr (Persian: نگين شهر; formerly, Nezamabad (Persian: نظام آباد), also Romanized as Nez̧āmābād)[3] is a city in the Central District of Azadshahr County, Golestan province, Iran.

At the 2006 census, its population was 7,639 in 1,765 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 7,858 people in 2,076 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 8,138 people in 2,344 households.[2]
