Oakhampton is a suburb in the City of Maitland in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia.

The traditional owners and custodians of the Maitland area are the Wonnarua people.[7]

The train station in the area closed on 20 October 1975.[8] Hunter Line services operating on the Dungog Branch run through the closed station, located between Telerah and Mindaribba.[9]
