Oreoleuciscus potanini is a species of cyprinid in the genus Oreoleuciscus.[1] It inhabits Mongolia and Tuva, Russia,[1] in freshwater rivers and lakes with temperatures of between 10 and 20 °C (50 and 68 °F).[1] It has a maximum length of 100 centimetres (39 in), a common length of 75 centimetres (30 in), a maximum published weight of 10.0 kilograms (22.0 lb) and a maximum published age of 40 years.[1] It is considered harmless to humans.[1]
