Pachal waterfall, with fall height of 350 m (1,150 ft), is claimed to be the tallest waterfall of Nepal.[1] The height was measured based on a GPS survey.[2] It is located in Pachaljharna Gaupalika of Kalikot District. [3]

The site has been declared as a centre of tourism development by the Karnali Provincial government.[4] The village municipality is named after this waterfall.[5]
