Paraíso (Spanish pronunciation: [paɾaˈiso]) is a district of the Paraíso canton, in the Cartago province of Costa Rica.[1][2]

History

It was established in 1823.[3]

Geography

Paraíso has an area of 19.5 km²[4] and an elevation of 1,325 metres.[1] It is located 8 km southeast of Cartago.
