Parotocinclus maculicauda is a species of fish in the family Loricariidae.[1][2][3][4] The species was originally described by Franz Steindachner in 1877.[5] It is endemic to Southeastern Brazil and inhabits rivers.[1]

Parotocinclus maculicauda can grow to 6.1 cm (2.4 in) total length.[2]
