In Greek mythology, Pontomedusa or Pontomedousa (Ancient Greek: Ποντομέδουσα means 'sea-queen') was one of the 50 Nereids, marine-nymph daughters of the 'Old Man of the Sea' Nereus and the Oceanid Doris.[1][2]
