Providence Academy is a private, co-ed, Catholic college-preparatory school (PreK–12) at 15100 Schmidt Lake Road, Plymouth, Minnesota. It is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
On November 10, 2023, Providence Academy and several of its administrators were sued by families of four male former students, including Northern Oil Chairman and Lifetime Fitness CEO Bahram Akradi, and former Northern Oil CEO Michael Reger. They allege their students' expulsions from the school were motivated by gender discrimination and that the school failed to prevent the spread of rumors that the students were involved in a rape, which they claim are false.[1]
