Rebel Wolves is a video game developer based in Warsaw, Poland. It was founded by Konrad Tomaszkiewicz following his departure from CD Projekt.
History
On February 16, 2022: Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, a video game director on The Witcher 3 and co-director for Cyberpunk 2077 had announced he was leaving CD Projekt to form his own studio, Rebel Wolves to gain independent freedom to create its own universe.[1] The studio had quickly lined up its first project, a AAA dark fantasy game built using Unreal Engine 5.[2]
In November, the company had secured a strategic investment from NetEase Games, who also had acquired a minority stake in the company.[3] With Rebel able to retain full creative control and ownership of its intellectual property.[4]
