Robert Kipkemboi (born 19 June 1988) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specializes in marathon. He won the 2022 N Kolay Istanbul Marathon title.[1][2]
Career
Kipkemboi won his first local marathon title at the 2016 Standard Chartered Nairobi Marathon and clinched the second local title in the 2nd edition of 42 kilometers Nairobi City Marathon in 2023 with the time of 2:08:30.[3] He won the 2022 N Kolay Istanbul Marathon title with the time of 2:10.18 to claim the World Athletics Elite label road race. He won the 17th edition of Oberbank Linz Danube Marathon title in his debut appearance in record time but was unable to beat the record set by a Ukrainian in 2007.[4][5][6]
