Rodrigo Ferreira da Silva (born 29 March 1995) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Mirassol in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B.
Early life
He began his youth career with Cotia FC, later playing with the youth sides of Tanabi, Taboão da Serra and Batatais.[1] He then briefly played with Santos at youth level.[1]
Club career
He began his senior career with Batatais.[1] He then played with Mogi Mirim, Cuiabá, Ituano, and Guarani de Palhoça.[1]
In November 2018, it was announced he would join Marcílio Dias on loan for the 2019 season.[2] In January 2019, he suffered a knee injury and missed the remainder of the 2019 season.[3] In January 2020, he signed a permanent contract with the club.[4] In May 2020, he renewed his contract through 2021.[5]
In August 2020, he was loaned to Brasil de Pelotas.[6]
In February 2021, he joined Botafogo (SP) on loan.[7] At the end of the season, he departed Botafogo at the conclusion of his loan.[8]
In December 2021, he signed with Mirassol for the 2022 season.[9]
In March 2022, he went on loan to Grêmio.[1] In December 2022, he tore a ligament in his knee, which due to Brazilian labour law, required the club to renew his contract, so he could continue his recovery and missed the 2023 season.[10] In August 2023, he left the club, upon the conclusion of his loan.[11]
