Romeno (Romén in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 35 kilometres (22 mi) north of Trento.
Geography
As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,315 and an area of 9.1 square kilometres (3.5 sq mi).[3]
Romeno borders the following municipalities: Amblar, Cavareno, Coredo, Dambel, Don, Sanzeno and Sarnonico.
Frazioni
The municipality of Romeno contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Malgolo and Salter.
