Rosehill metro station is a planned railway station on the Sydney Metro West line, intended to serve the suburb of Rosehill, New South Wales. The announcement of its possible inclusion in the Sydney Metro West project was made on 7 December 2023. The station is slated to be constructed at the current site of the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, in conjunction with a comprehensive development plan that includes approximately 25,000 residential units. The decision to establish the station arose from a collaborative agreement between the New South Wales Government and the Australian Turf Club. This agreement involves the relocation of racing activities from the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse to a yet-to-be-disclosed location.[1][2]
