The rusty-breasted wren-babbler (Gypsophila rufipectus) is a species of bird in the family Pellorneidae. It is endemic to western Sumatra in Indonesia.

Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
