Sabakoe is an Amerindian[1] hamlet in Para District, Suriname,[2] located near Zanderij.[3][4] It is also the Surinamese name of little blue herons,[5] which is used as the logo of Surinam Airways.[6]
Sabakoe is located in the savannah along the Sabakoe Creek about an hour's walk from Berlijn.[7][8] In 1904, it was described as a tiny hamlet.[8] As of 2022, it is not listed as an official Amerindian settlement.[9]
