Shaquan "Shaq" Davis (born February 8, 2000)[1] is an American football wide receiver for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at South Carolina State.
Early years
Davis was born in Summerville, South Carolina and attended Summerville High School.[2] In high school, he played football as a wide receiver and basketball as a center.[3]
College career
Davis committed to South Carolina State out of high school.[4] Entering the 2023 NFL Draft, he was considered one of the top receivers in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference. In the 2021 Celebration Bowl, he recorded five catches for 95 yards and three touchdowns and was named the offensive MVP.[5]
In his final season with the Bulldogs, he recorded 45 receptions for 934 yards and 11 touchdowns.[5]

On April 29, 2023, Davis was signed to the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft.[8] He was waived on August 29, 2023, but was signed to their practice squad the next day.[9][10] On October 9, 2023, Davis was placed on injured reserve after suffering through an undisclosed injury.[11] On December, 7, he was reinstated from the practice squad injured reserve.[12]
