Sharon Nicole Corrales Rodríguez (born 31 October 2002) is a Costa Rican footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Llaneros.

Early life

Corrales won the league with Costa Rican side Alajuelense.[1] Despite this, she was regarded as unable to consolidate herself as an important plater in the Costa Rican league.[2] Even then, she was still regarded as a Costa Rican prospect.[3]

Club career

In 2021, she signed for Panamanian side Atlético Chiriquí, where she had the least goals conceded in the league.[4] In 2022, she signed for Colombian side América de Cali and was regarded as an important signing.[5] She was regarded as an important player in helping the club win the league.[6] She also received media attention due to her physical appearance.[7]

International career

Corrales has represented Costa Rica internationally at youth level.[8]

Style of play

Corrales mainly operates as a goalkeeper and is known for her defensive leadership and reflexes.[9]

Personal life

Corrales has had a pet dog and enjoys art besides playing football.[10]
