Swędów (Polish pronunciation: [ˈsfɛnduf]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Stryków, within Zgierz County, Łódź Voivodeship, in central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Stryków, 12 km (7 mi) north-east of Zgierz, and 16 km (10 mi) north of the regional capital Łódź.[1]
The village has an approximate population of 1,000.
Swędów mainly consists of holiday homes which people from nearby Łódź come to for the summer.
