Tegar is an album by the Indonesian singer Rossa, released on November 25 1999. The main single on this album has the same title, namely "Tegar" created by Melly Goeslaw which was later used as the soundtrack for the soap opera Suami, Istri, and Dia directed by Putu Wijaya, a Star Vision production broadcast by RCTI.[1]
The album was a commercial succes domestically, and was also released in Malaysia in 2000 by BMG Music Malaysia. Rossa also appeared as Indonesia's representative at the "My Love" music festival on 26-29 October 2000 in Hanoi, Vietnam.The second single from this album, "Biarkan Cinta Itu Ada" was also used as the soundtrack for the soap opera "Tersayang" in 2000 in Brunei Darussalam.[2][3]
