Tembang Lingsir (lit. 'Lingsir Song') is a 2019 Indonesian horror thriller film directed by Rizal Mantovani and written by Andhika Lazuardi. The film stars Marsha Aruan, Aisyah Aqilah, Jennifer Coppen, Teuku Rifnu Wikana, Meisya Siregar, Sarah Tüffahati Mornov, and Arya Vasco.[1] The film was released on January 31, 2019. This film tries to uncover the mystery behind the traditional Javanese song Lingsir Wengi.[2]
Plot
Mala's (Marsha Aruan) life is always about the song Lingsir, a song that her mother taught her since childhood. After a mysterious fire incident that killed her mother, Mala lost her voice.
