The Bell Keeper is a 2023 American slasher horror film directed and edited by Colton Tran about a group of friends who decide to go on a camping trip to try and debunk the myth about a killer who is summoned after the ringing of a bell.[1]

It was released by Screen Media Films on October 13, 2023.[1]

Reception

In Keith and the Movies, Keith Garlingthon[4] gave it 1.5/5 stars saying that it "has a few interesting ideas and it does what it can with the resources it has. But it’s a clear victim of its limitations and its almost endearing schlockiness quickly erodes into something tougher to bear."[5]

At Film Threat, Daniel Rester gave it a 6/10 rating saying, "just when I was beginning to wonder if The Bell Keeper had anything new to add, the script by Joe Davison and Luke Genton throws the audience a curveball during the midpoint ... offers an enjoyable horror ride for undemanding genre fans."[6]
