Theresa Raizenberg is a well-known[1] LGBTQ community equal rights activist.[2] Together with Midi Achmat and Sally Gross, she was awarded the 2003 Galactic/Allison Masters Community Award.[3] She is also one of the founding members of TAC.[2] She has written in various activist journals[2][4] and is active with the Gay and Lesbian Memory in Action (GALA) organization.[5]
