Thomas Berthold Schlumprecht is an American-German mathematician who is known for his contributions to several fields of Analysis, including Functional Analysis, Convex Geometry, and Probability Theory.[1]

Education

Schlumprecht received his Ph.D. degree from Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich in 1988.[2]

Career

Schlumprecht is professor of Mathematics at Texas A&M University since 1992. He served as an International editor of the Glasgow Mathematical Journal from 1999 to 2018[3] and as associate editor for the processings of the American Mathematical Society from 2010 to 2017.[4] He is also an associate editor of Journal of Functional Analysis, since august 2017,[5] and an associate editor of Banach Journal of Mathematical Analysis since September 2018.[6] He is a fellow of American Mathematical Society from 2016.[7]
