Turów [ˈturuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ścinawa, within Lubin County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Ścinawa, 13 km (8 mi) east of Lubin, and 56 km (35 mi) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław.
The name of the village is of Polish origin and comes from the word tur, which means "aurochs".[2]
