The following article outlines statistics for UEFA Euro 2020, which took place across Europe from 11 June to 11 July 2021 after being postponed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[1] Goals scored during penalty shoot-outs are not counted, and matches decided by a penalty shoot-out are considered draws.

Goalscorers

There were 142 goals scored in 51 matches, for an average of 2.78 goals per match.

The tournament had the highest goal average since UEFA Euro 1976, prior to the introduction of the group stage.[2] Eleven own goals were scored in the tournament, two more than at all the previous tournaments combined.[3] With his goals in this tournament, Cristiano Ronaldo became the top goalscorer at the European Championship with 14 goals.[4]
