Västra Karup (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈvɛ̌sːtra ˈkɑ̌ːrɵp])[2] is a locality situated in Båstad Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 582 inhabitants in 2010.[1] Birgit Nilsson was born there 1918.
